After graduating from American University in Washington, DC with a degree in Film and Media Arts (minor: Audio Technology) in 2014, I started off as an assistant video editor at the Smithsonian Channel, where I had the opportunity to assist in the finishing process for several exhibit videos displayed at the National Museum of African American History and Culture. I then transitioned from assistant editing to editing short-form content for non-profit/advocacy groups, digital agencies, and clients like the Obama Foundation, MTV, and Anheuser-Busch.

 

In 2019, I relocated to Los Angeles and found my way into the VR space as a video editor and senior video editor at Strivr, editing live-action VR/360 training modules for Fortune 100 companies, such as Amazon, Bank of America, CVS, Advent Health, Sprouts, etc. One of my highlights at Strivr included launching an Asian Pacific Islander employee resource group (API ERG) in 2021 as a chair and ERG council member - elevating marginalized voices and building community have always been a passion of mine.
